What is OTB?

“Ok to Board” (OTB), or “OKTB,” is a process where airlines verify a passenger’s visa and other travel documents before allowing them to board a flight, particularly for travel to certain countries like those in the Middle East. This process is crucial to ensure travelers have valid documentation and prevent issues with immigration upon arrival.

“Ok to Board” is a mandatory airline approval for travellers holding an E-Visa or paper visas to selected Gulf countries. Without this, you may be denied boarding at the airport.

Who needs Ok to Board?

They generally require OKTB when traveling to certain destinations, like the Passengers traveling to UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, etc., with an E-visa or paper visa must get OTB updated by their airline before departure.

It's crucial to initiate the OKTB process well in advance of the flight. 48 hrs prior, as it can take time for airlines to verify documents.

All Airlines has difference fees for the OKTB service. 

If a flight is rescheduled, the OKTB process may need to be repeated.
